2020 I'm Coming For You!

So… how can I begin? I have been pretty crap with my blog since I have moved to China. The odd video here and the rare insta picture there. The only excuse I can give is that I have been living life. Working six days a week, raising a kitten and the holiday season make for a very busy peach.

But, I promised myself that I would make time for my blog in 2020 and dangnabbit I’m going to. But first, I want to reflect a little on exactly what happened in 2019, because sis, it was a rollercoaster.

1. Graduated uni

This is a massive one! I worked my butt off for three years to get a first and when I got my results, it felt as good as I had always hoped it would! But although London was the most amazing uni city and it left me with countless memories, I was done. I knew I couldn’t live there anymore, so I picked myself up and flew myself to the other side of the world.

2. Travelled around Japan

Now, I can safely say that this was my first, but not my last trip to Japan. It all seemed a bit surreal, climbing mountains, following a guide that preached for us to love ourselves. But what an amazing journey. My introduction to Japan was breathtaking, albeit a little short. I can’t wait to see it again in the future!

3. Moved to China

So this was the big daddy! With one little suitcase, I moved my life to China. I have a job that I love and this experience is unlike anything I have done in my life. I have cried, missed family and home comforts. But I have gained a new kind of family in my coworkers, friends and my little cat.

I think those are the main three that I wish to discuss. Of course, like any year there were lows, some really deep lows. But we must remain optimistic.

I set myself a goal in December, that I would pick up a new hobby. I am an inherently creative person and if I don’t get out my creative juices (god that sounds gross) I get all weird and sad. So, I bought myself a sewing machine and decided that I am going to make my own clothes.

I have so many ideas and I have already created my dream pinafore! I want to create clothes that are not made for women like me, that do not come in our size! I have wanted this for a while and I am very proud of myself for taking the plunge and sewing my first dress.

And that leads me onto 2020. What do I want to do? Well, it’s pretty simple really. Make clothes, make money, be creative and be happy. I feel very settled in my life now, so I want to carry on as I am, with the reintroduction of social media and my blog back into the mix.

So, tell me, how do you feel about me making more fashion and clothes related content? Along with China content and my usual self reflective stuff?

I can’t wait to spend a wonderful year with you guys!

Make sure to check out my instagram and twitter and dm me for a follow back!

Until next time,
Stay peachy,
Paige xx

  1. Congrats on all your accomplishments this past year! No wonder you've been so busy: graduating, a trip to Japan, and then a move to China? That's a lot. One of my goals for the new year is to learn to use a sewing machine as well...I don't know if I'll get up to pinafore level soon, but it's worth a shot. Best of luck in 2020 :)

  2. Wow, what a year you've had! Moving to China??? Wow! No wonder you've been busy! And congratulations on graduating and your little kitten <3 I hope you have a fantastic 2020!
