20th Birthday Haul

So, if you have been keeping up with me, you would know that I turned 20 this past sunday. I had the most wonderful weekend, exiting my teens and transitioning into the third decade of my life. This birthday really wasn't about the materialistic side of things, but I got some absolutely lovely bits. So I'm going to share with you all of the wonderful gifts that I received!

Beatrix Potter has always been special to me. I loved the stories and the ballet as a child, and I adore the illustrations and the stories to this day. Jeremy Fisher was, and is my favourite character. This gift made me tear up a little, because for me, this is not only a gift for me. This book is full of stories that I can read to my children, one day; an antique that I can pass down through my family.

Yellow is the colour of the season and I was so lucky to receive this beautiful bag from Cath Kidson. I had walked past the shop countless times and coveted this bag every time. It is made of waterproof material and it really adds a pop of colour to any outfit!

Along with the bag, I also got this beautiful yellow pleated midi skirt that I can add to my slowly, but surely growing vintage clothing collection. I cannot wait for the day when I only own vintage style clothes, and I can truly live my style dream.

Alice in Wonderland has a special place in my heart. A bit like Beartrix Potter, the classic drawings just make me so happy! I have even written a fanfiction surrounding Alice in Wonderland, that you can find here. So, when I opened these amazing prints, I almost jumper for joy and called for tea! These designs are printed on vintage dictionary pages. Alice in wonderland? Tick. Vintage? Tick.

Now, these are the real deal. I am an absolute music junkie and these Beats Solo 3s are the absolute dream for any music fanatic. Listening to the soul and mowtown classics through these is the smoothest experience around, and listening to opera is a real cinematic experience. They are a pricey investment, but most definitely worth it!

Now, this lady loves nail polish, especially OPI. I have nude shades, forest green shades, but I have never had the white shade, or a coral. But say hello to Alpine Snow and Toucan do it if you try. I'm so excited to get these on my trotters and strut around like the coolest girl in town. Coolest, like snow, get it? I'll go home.

Your girl loves colouring books, and I love pride and prejudice. Put them together and you have the perfect relaxation activity. But you know what would make it even better? A pack of extra bouji Ted Baker colouring pencils. I shall spend many an hour enjoying this one.

I also received a wonderful phonecase, covered in kitties, which is now on my phone, never to come off.

I am so grateful for all of the gifts that I received and I honestly feel so blessed in my life to have people who love and support me.

Let me know what you are hoping for, or recieved for your birthday this year!

Until next time,
Stay Peachy,
Paige xx
